Step In. Step Up. Reform Nigeria.
To significantly increase the rate of voter registration and PVC collection, particularly among eligible young and first-time voters, through innovative outreach programs.
To monitor and observe all local government and national elections, documenting and reporting irregularities in partnership with electoral bodies.
To advocate for and defend the rights of all Nigerians to freedom of assembly and association as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution.
To train and deploy highly competent, non-partisan election observers and monitors across all 36 states and the FCT.
We are an NGO, but our membership structure allows for collective action, drawing on the principle of the right to association to drive democratic reform. We need individuals who are capable, non-partisan, and ready to contribute meaningfully.
The Core Social Responsibility and Rights Initiative (CSRRI) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to strengthening democracy, promoting active civic participation, and ensuring electoral integrity across Nigeria. We believe that a reformed Nigerian system begins with an engaged citizenry exercising its fundamental rights. Incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we operate in all 36 states and the FCT, driven by the spirit of Section 40 of the 1999 Constitution, which guarantees the right to association.
Our impact is magnified through strategic collaborations
Working with INEC and all 36 SIECs for accreditation, sharing data, and offering recommendations for procedural improvements.
Forming alliances with other CSOs and NGOs to share resources, unify advocacy efforts, and create a wider network of election protection.
Seeking technical assistance and funding from bodies committed to democratic strengthening and governance reform in West Africa.
Voter education and participation outreach to persons living with disabilities Nigerian communities.
We are firmly established as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), committed to reforming the Nigerian system by upholding the democratic rights of its citizens.
